The term alternative energy is also called renewable energy and both are used interchangeably when people talk about the environment. When people talk about renewable energy they usually refer to how electric is being supplied to the public. We began with recycling pape with the waste management programs in our towns and cities. However, the environmentally people are worried that this not enough so many companies are looking elsewhere to find a renewable or alternative methods of energy. Yes renewable energy is a good alternative to the fossil fuels or non-renewable energy that everyone is using today.
The energy that the world is using today largely comes from non-renewable energy which is our natural resources. These resources oil and coal are depleting fast. Many companies, the EPA and others are looking at alternative energy resources that do not give off any poisonous emissions into the air. The renewable alternative energy that is being considered is solar energy, wind energy, and hydroelectric energy. The renewable energy is costly to collect for people in the public to use. However with newer technology for solar and wind power it is getting closer for all of us to use as an alternative energy source.
